Township of Moorooduc

The farming district of Moorooduc forms the rural heart of the Peninsula's northern plains, boasting one of the greatest concentration of thoroughbred estates in Australia, as well as a range of alternative farming ventures.

Its drier, broader country also provides a distinct micro climate for Peninsula's wines, especially of the red grape variety. Despite its size and farming character, a range of tourist attractions can be experienced throughout the sprawling district.
