Mum and Dad can enjoy the fishing while the kids will delight at the seals, dolphins, pelicans and other wild life.
Of course, kids also enjoy throwing a line over the side and sometimes meet with even more success than their oldies The Jillian is licensed to carry 20 passengers per charter.
Working out of Rye on the Mornington Peninsula, she has had a long, safe and successful history plying the waters of Port Phillip Bay off Rosebud, Rye, Blairgowrie, Sorrento and Portsea.
Over the years she has delighted thousands of day trippers and holiday makers with memorable fishing trips around the bay.
All fishing equipment and bait is supplied so the only things you need to bring are a cooler bag or small Esky to take home your catch, and a fishing licence.
All ages are catered for and there are toilet facilities on board.
Our crew will even clean your fish for you now that s service you don t normally get Our day trips and short charters are just the right length to fit in a relaxing lunch before or after, at one of the many fine restaurants and pubs on the southern peninsula.
You could even BBQ your freshly caught and cleaned fish at one of the many public picnic areas that the area has to offer.
Weather permitting, charters depart from the Rye Pier at 8am and return at noon for the morning trip and then depart at 1pm and return at 5pm for the afternoon trip.
Special trips and exclusive charters can be arranged on request.
