THERE S NOTHING LIKE IT The countdown is on to the 87th Red Hill Show This iconic event will be held at the Red Hill Showgrounds, Arthurs Seat Road Melway Ref 190 J4 on Saturday, March 28 from 8.30am to 5pm, plus a special Entertainment Stage Extra with Bands Bar from 3.30pm to 7pm.
Make sure you list that date in your diary now Entries will soon open for Alpacas, Art, Sheep, Cattle, Cooking, Craft, Flowers, Fruit, Homemade Cheese, Homemade Wine, Miniature Goats, Photography, Poultry, Rats, Vegetables and Junior Classes.
Everybody is welcome to enter The 2015 Red Hill Show is again great value for money for the family once you have your admission ticket there are many things that are free to see and do the pavilions will be full of art, craft, cooking, flowers, fruit and vegetables and the livestock competitions let you get up close to the animals, large and small.
Check out the biggest pumpkin watch the ladies spin beautiful natural fibres pat and feed the gorgeous animals in the farmyard nursery see the cow being milked cheer on the racing ferrets watch the open judging of the Fruit Cakes, Homemade Cheese and much, much more.
Everyone s favourite the Woodchop is on again with top line Axemen competing Join in the Circus workshop and watch in awe as the Balloon Man fashions creatures for the children and the Stiltwalker moves amongst the crowd.
Come to the Black Snake Productions marquee where children and adults will have the opportunity to handle and learn about our fascinating Australian wildlife.
The Showgrounds will be filled with activities for all the family to enjoy.
There will be fairground rides, art workshops, vintage cars, working dog demonstrations, roving performers, sheep shearing, free face painting and pony rides for the children.
