An Edwardian homestead, built in 1876for the original farming family, sits nobly opposite them, adding its regalfacade and rich story to the property.
In the cool bluestone and oak cellar door, Geraldine McFaul s elegant wines are available to taste with the friendlyand knowledgeable staff.
Her renowned Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Gris and sparkling Brut are anexpression of the vineyard lovinglyhand-tended by Robbie O Leary.
A purpose built tasting room in the barrel hall ensures that touringgroups can discover the intricaciesof winemaking in an intimate anddedicated setting as well.

Willow Creek s barrel hall will become an exhibition space for local gallery Cook St Collective s artists, who will display their individual and very cool artworks over the long weekend for visitors to peruse and purchase.
Salix will be offering casual hawker- style food as an alternative for visitorswho need nourishment but prefer notto linger over a long lunch, with livemusic on the Sunday.
