BLAIRGOWRIE

Wedged between Rye and Sorrento, Blairgowrie sports a small but quality shopping centre and a range of mainly holiday homes stretching from its charming bayside beach and yacht club to its `wildcoast' on Bass Strait.

Blairgowrie's early history is closely tied to Sorrento. Until major subdivision of land began in the 1950s it was known as Sorrento East. The shops and family beach are now much loved by holiday makers seeking a quieter alternative.
