The Mornington Peninsula: the holiday destination that offers seasons filled with activities, secrets and images that will delight the heart and the soul.

Autumn: its colourful ‘finery’ reflects the golden moments of the day, and the chance to slowly enjoy some of the activities on offer such as cycling throughout some of the region or visiting farm gates to talk with producers.

Winter: rolling green hills, gumboots at the door, puddles for children to jump, open fireplaces where people gather to chat and enjoy a glass of local wine. Spring: daffodils, golf, and new season haute couture in villages across the region.

Summer: a vibrancy for all to enjoy later in the year.

What about time for two to rekindle the romance? Or perhaps some family fun where three generations can come together for indoor and outdoor activities? Maybe a day-trip with friends – the opportunity to catch-up and create some special moments?

Time for Two

Set the scene for romance. Sit on the deck at Seahaze Bed and Breakfast (Arthurs Seat) and watch the sun setting on Port Phillip Bay before heading to the multi-award winning restaurant La Petanque at Main Ridge where you will relish the tastes of Modern South of France cuisine. La Petanque’s attention to detail in all of its forms will add to the sense of occasion for you both.

Family Frolics

For the Grandparents: stroll the grounds of Heronswood where there are “over 50 sub-tropical fruits integrated within its flower borders”. Take the time to purchase one of the many plants, bulbs or seeds from The Diggers Club whilst there. It is also a wonderful place for children to learn how to start up their own small garden when they return home

For Mum: Book a manicure at Peninsula Life Medispa and experience a nurturing lower arms and hands massage.
