At 9.00 on Monday October 17th RPP FM went live to air from its brand new studios at Wilson’s Road Mornington. Almost 25 years to the day from when the original 3RPP went live from Octavia Street, the community station is back in Mornington, bigger and better than ever.
'That was then, this is very much now' says station manager Brendon Telfer, who joined the Community outfit from the ABC a year ago. With collaboration between the Shire, Rotary and the station RPP FM can claim to be the best community broadcast facility in Victoria.
Two state of the art studios, full production facilities and a massive performance studio mean the station will be able to tap into the community.
